WhatsApp Hit Its 2 Billion Users Up From 1.5 Billion With-in 2 Years



WhatsApp is the most popular messaging App and making its progress by hitting its users day by day. It is also free of ads and does not charge any fee from its users. That’s why The Facebook-owned App says that it has piled up its users from 1.3 billion to 2 billion within two years. WhatsApp is the second App after Facebook, which has the 2 billion fan’s club.

Facebook earning report of January reveals that there are 2.26 billion users that open either Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp each day, up from 2.2 billion last quarter. The family users of apps are 2.89 billion per month. WhatsApp was founded 11 years ago, and it was sold to Facebook for $19 billion six years ago

End-to-End Encryption of WhatsApp

As far as security issues are concerned, Whatsapp provides end-to-end encryption to its customers all over the globe. It is a crucial feature welcomed by security experts everywhere. The government of the U.S, India, and Australia is forcing WhatsApp to drop encryption. India has a hoard of 400 million WhatsApp users. Chief executive of WhatsApp, Will Cathcart once said in the past that WhatsApp would fight for the privacy of its users. It was sawed on display when WhatsApp filed a suit in federal court accusing Israeli mobile surveillance makers of creating an exploit that was used hundreds of times to hack into targets’ phones. As end-to-end encryption is the necessity of modern life, the company says that they will not compromise on security because that makes people less safe. For more protection even, the company is willing to employ top security experts. The company is working on leading technology to stop misuse. Also, it is working to provide controls and ways to report issues without sacrificing privacy.

WhatsApp has a hoard of fans, 2 billion fans, is outstanding progress of WhatsApp. It has gained much popularity in the biggest markets of the world, including India, without any marketing. WhatsApp is the more penetration App in India other than other Apps. Although WhatsApp has many users all over the world, it is still making substantial efforts to come up with Facebook. WhatsApp startup Scores in developing markets today are building businesses worldwide. Many startups use WhatsApp to hit their clients.
